Glacier Getaways is a Whitefish Property Management and Vacation Rental Company owned and operated by long-time Whitefish, MT residents Andy Bestwick and Jamie Frank. Both Andy and Jamie choose to live in Whitefish because of their love of the area and all the beautiful scenery and outdoor activities that the Flathead Valley and northwest Montana has to offer. The pair fully embrace the ‘work hard, play hard’ motto and take pleasure and pride in sharing our Whitefish way-of-life with other folks around the globe. Prior to founding the company in 2019, Jamie and Andy had worked in the property management sector for a combined total of 15 years in a multitude of different facets of property management. The duo has experience managing a variety of different short-term rentals, long term rentals, and home owners associations in Whitefish and beyond. Jamie worked for nearly a decade in Vail, CO managing some of the most luxurious ski-resort properties in the world. Andy has been managing long-term rentals and homeowners associations in Whitefish since 2012 and also owns and operates a home-repair and maintenance business based out of Whitefish.
Glacier Getaways is founded on the principle high-quality hands-on property management for luxurious homes in Whitefish and the surrounding Flathead Valley. Unlike most property managers, Glacier Getaways bases its success on quality of homes and acute attention to detail rather than sheer quantity of rental units. During Jamie and Andy’s time working for larger property managers in Whitefish, it became increasingly apparent that the rental market in the Flathead Valley was seriously lacking high-quality property management presence and was becoming flooded with out-of-state property managers that are focused purely on their bottom line. This business model results in lackluster property performance, less income for homeowners, and poor wages for the local residents who embrace and exude the true culture of Whitefish, Montana and make it the desirable community it is today.
Glacier Getaways focuses on excellent guest service because we believe this is the most effective way to attract repeat customers. In our business model, if we can fill our calendar with customers that book directly through our website, we will generate more income for our homeowners as they will not be paying booking fees to third party rental engines such as VRBO and AirBNB. Furthermore, Glacier Getaways uses an advanced pricing algorithm to continually monitor the rental market and adjust rates in real-time to reflect current market trends.
