Welcome to your own secluded slice of Montana. This custom craftsman home is tucked into the treetops in the rolling hills of Haskill Basin and sits on a robust one-acre lot so, if you’re seeking a private and pristine vacation rental, you’ve come to the right spot! The best part? You’re only a ten-minute drive from downtown Whitefish and a mere fifteen minutes to Whitefish Mountain Resort! For those looking to experience the wonder of Glacier National Park, rest easy knowing its magnificent beauty waits just 50 minutes from your front door. This home features a private hot tub and fantastic views from the second level deck. We politely request that all guests respect the neighboring properties and keep the noise down between the hours of 10pm and 9am. We also insist guests have a four-wheel drive vehicle or snow tires when renting during the winter months as access roads to this unit are quite steep. Lastly, please respect the wildlife and ensure that all rubbish is always stowed inside of the home. Thanks for reading, we hope to host you soon!

The Space:

The Lingonberry Log Lodge is a single-family home that can sleep up to six guests. The home includes four bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms within its 1900 sf footprint.

Entry through the front door of this house will provide guests with access to the top story of this two-level home. Upon entry, guests will be greeted with an open living area that features vaulted ceilings and expansive windows that flood the area with warm natural light. A stone encased wood-burning stove provides guests with a romantic setting and tasteful modern décor gives the living area a cozy feel. Off the living area, guest can access the half bath, the master bedroom, the expansive deck (equipped with grill and an outdoor dining table), and the combined kitchen and dining area.

The master bedroom features a plush king bed, vaulted ceilings, and massive windows with exceptional views beyond. It also includes an en-suite bathroom with a tub and a large custom tiled shower. The kitchen features large top-of-the-line appliances, beautiful cabinetry, and exquisitely finished granite countertops. An island counter separates the kitchen from the dining area and the gas burning fireplace provides an amazing backdrop to the dining room table. Off the kitchen, guests can access the laundry room and the walk-in pantry.

The walk-out basement features a plethora of windows on its south facing walls which allow plenty of sun exposure no matter the time of day. At the base of the steps guest can access the covered patio which features a private hot tub that overlooks the lawn. The lower floor includes a kids bunk room with a twin bed stacked on a full. This room also includes a shelving unit stocked with toys for the little ones. Continue down the hall to find two bedrooms with king sized beds and a shared bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Both king rooms are spacious, and they offer charming views of the surrounding forest. At the end of the hall guests can take advantage of a den area that features a sectional sofa surrounding a smart TV, a wood burning stove and a ping pong table.

Glacier Getaways reminds guests that wood is not provided for the wood burning fireplaces. Guests are advised not to use the wood burning fireplaces if they are not familiar with their operation. We really appreciate your compliance with this rule as these stoves can present a serious fire hazard if they are not used properly.

***Please note that all vehicles traveling to the property are required to have 4WD or chains during the winter months***

This vacation rental is located in a peaceful and tranquil residential neighborhood perfect for your next mountain getaway. In order to keep the tranquility of the community, we ask that you be respectful and mindful of your neighbors while on vacation. These homeowners have made this home available to share with responsible groups that will treat the home and neighborhood with respect.

In order to maintain the highest quality of our homes and the peace and quiet of our neighborhoods, all guests must adhere to the house rules, which prohibits music and loud noise. This is strictly enforced and prohibit parties, events, music, bonfires, and disruptive guests. No music is allowed at any time. Quiet hours are between 10:00pm and 9:00am and guests are asked to be inside and mindful of neighbors. Overnight guests shall not exceed the property’s posted occupancy. Guests must be respectful of wildlife. Trash must not be left outdoors at anytime unless it is in the secure bear-proof trash can located in the carport. No fires or bonfires at the property at any time.

Payment Policies

Payment in full is due upon booking. A separate refundable damage deposit is required in the amount of $750.00. Instead of directly charging for the damage deposit, a hold will be placed on the payment card on file upon arrival. It will be automatically released on 10 days after check-out, provided no charges apply.
A refundable damage deposit in the amount of $750 will be pre-authorized at the time of check-in & will be held to your card on file.

Glacier Getaways Cancellation Policy:

-No refund can be offered if a booking is canceled within 30 days of the arrival date.
-If a booking is cancelled 31 to 60 days prior to the arrival date a 50% refund will be credited to your account.
-If a booking is cancelled more than 61 days prior to the arrival date, a refund of 100% minus a 3% credit card processing fee will be credited to your account.

Pet are not allowed at this property under any circumstances
No RVs or Sprinter vans are allowed per the HOA for more than 24 hours.
No events or parties are allowed at any time.
The maximum occupancy is 7 people.
The maximum number of cars allowed at the property is 2.
There is a $75 convenience fee plus the cost of shipping for shipping any forgotten items.
A credit card pre-authorization of $750.00 is required at the time of check-in as a damage deposit if booked directly through Glacier Getaways or through VRBO. This does not apply if you booked through Airbnb.
